Someone deleted my post regarding my question - if our interview might be waived if we have a child together

I am an American citizen and my husband came here on H1B. He is here legally. We have a 9 mos old baby and are waiting for the approval of Readjustment of STatus. Is there a possibility we won't have to go to an interview?

And is it true the wait time for the approval is about 180 in the L.A. Field Office from the day we file?

Having a child doesn't change anything at all. If you're going through an adjustment of status, it will probably help but they are not going to waive the interview.
