What's the reason for the declination? I would guess, you'd have to use your passport and do it the regular way - like any other traveler.

There is no effect legally, but in reality, if you are denied a NEXUS card you are unlikely to get or maintain a visa. You are also likely to be stopped the next time you enter and be refused entry based on information on the NEXUS denial that may also be applicable to admission as an alien.Comment
