  • H-1B Fee Reduced

As of October 1, 2003, the BCIS will reduce the filing fee for the H-1B application. The fee will return to $130. But, the cap will also be reduced to just 65,000 visas per fiscal year. So, if you need a new H-1B or just an extension, October 1 is a good time to save money and beat the cap. An H-1B extension can be filed six months in advance of the expiration date.
