I got my GC thru marriage to my USC husband last month. It's hard to be happy about this because just recently my parents' application for adjustment of status was rejected, under which my sisters and I are under. My question is this: Should I contact INS about this? Although the first application was with my maiden name and the second with my married name, I used my A#, which stays the same, on both. But yet the rejection for the first case came after the acceptance of the second. I've heard you can have multiple adjustment cases with INS, but then what happens when some get rejected and some accepted?

You have got your GC through marriage. One person can be sponsored or can apply for AOS under different categories. If one is approved then AOS application other categories can be abandoned. Congratulations for your GC.
