    IF the petitioner died then petition died with that. if USC citizen want to sponsor his brothe/sister , he have to start process again.
    Priority date has no meaning for the alien whos petition is no more valid.

    re: petitioner father died, his usc son ready to sponsor, visa # approaching soon,how to go about keeping case alive & is it very difficult to get approval for such case
