fingerprinting/EAD - Vermont

How to find out if the fingerprinting results have been sent by FBI to INS. I had my fingerprinting in second week of November and my I-765 application filed early September. Its been more than 90 days, the stipulated time mentioned in the reciepts for such application to be decided. The irony is that VSC telephone number is constantly busy and the INS National Center has no clue about my specific case, they feel there might be a delay in getting FP results. Its a dilemma for me. What to do? Can any one share there experience? Do you recieve any letter from FBI or INS that your FP has been processed etc.?
