  • CIMTs defined?

Does anyone know what USCIS considers a CIMT (Crime Involving Moral Turpitude). Is there a listing somewhere of these, or a case history or precedent for these? Where or how does one find out?

I am interested particularly in whether USCIS would consider the following a CIMT - a County Uniform Civil Citation that only carries a fine or judgment as a penalty, where the citation is for selling a pack of cigarettes to a minor (without intent) when working as a cashier in a drugstore in Montgomery County, Md.

It shouldn't be a CIMT, unless you were selling it to an obvious 6 year old...
