  • Canadian-Married to green card holder

I am wondering if anyone can share any situation similar to mine and what the remedy might me.

I am a Canadian citizen living in US and working without permit. I recently married to a green card holder in US. Can I file something to get valid work permit?

Your spouse can just sponsor you by filing I-130 but you will not receive any legal papers. You will have to wait for several years. When your spouse becomes Citizen then your spouse can request for ask Immigration to change category on the petition.
Right now you can not get Work Authorization in the United States.
I wish, I could give you some encouraging news about situation.
