Hello,
I am a USC (So is my wife and kids). I want to bring my parents to live here permanently from Bombay India. Now how do I do that? Also a year ago they had applied for a visiting visa which was denied since I was a GC holder at that time. Now is this going to effect my parents? what are the forms do I need to file? and how much time will this take? Your help is really appreciated. Thank you.

To Gupta:
Since you are USC now, you can sponsor your parents by filing Form I-130. You must submit your Birth certificate to prove relationship. It usually takes about 9 - 15 months for the whoe process for them to come here. Earlier rejection of Visit Visa will not effect this petition.
