My sister came to america as a tourist, but she over stay her visa but she is 12 years old. how can she apply for permanent residency and be able to stay and go to school?

Ask an attorney about becoming her legal guardian. My friends did that and were able to achieve resident status for a child in their family.

Would i be in trouble for letting my sister, 12 years old, stay here in america pass her visa due because i know the education is better here.
i guess what i'm trying to say is would the ins or the fbi come to my home and look for her or try to arrest me.
