Im a pinay who's been out of status for almost 4months now, i entered the US legally with a multiple entry for a tourist visa. I consulted a pinoy lawyer in LA abt my status and told me that the only way i could be legalized is to marry a true USC...and ur not alone "tnt" coz i dont have a bf either.

But my employer wants to petition me, am i still qualified for that? is it too dangerous for me if my employer file a petition for a outofstatus alien?

      Thanks!

I don't think your employer can petition you since you're already out of status and you are no longer covered by the 245i amnesty. IF it's extended, then I think they can do it. (I think). Kasi my lawyer in NY told me that even if I find an employer, I can only ask them to petition me if 245i is extended.

        TO BUGZY, tama ba ako?

yup, you're right. you can only be sponsored by an empolyer if the 245i amnesty is back...good luck. and if i were you, i won't let my fiance' come and be a tnt as well. let him visit na lang. i think it will be difficult pag ganon.

I am refering here to children of natural born usc. generally they are usc with exceptions, and it defends on so many factors that I do not have to highlights here, I advise you to go on www.ins.usdoj.gov to know more about naturalization and citizenship.

On 1-130, usc can use it for other purposes like petition for a wife who is not a usc.

                        to boni

Maybe, but as I had stated before that my parents did not registered me in the US embassy Phil. but my father and I already did the DNA and the result was positive that he was my father. My question is how many years does it takes with this kind of petition(I-130)?
