Freedom of Information Act - HOW???

Please help! I cannot find where to get the forms to fill out to request this info from INS. Does anyone know how or where I can get them? Does anyone know how hard/easy it is to do? Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the information from INS? ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED.
I'm the USC thats been married 3 years to immigrant and want a divorce NOW.

This form is used to request access to INS information under the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts.

How fast can you get this?Should it take days, weeks, or months?

it should be under the INS' web-site, that's at least where I downloaded it from last November and sent it off. I then saw several months later on the copies (I kept for my own records) that I had forgotten to sign them. I sent in a new one in Feb/march 2002, received a mail to pay 20+ dollar or that the procedure will be administratively closed in 10 days (by the time I received the letter, several days had passed already), so I sent everything express, and received two (!!) thick and fat copies of my files.

Since the INS is keeping files of aliens only, they will most likely have it under the name of your alien spouse. As far as I know, you wouldn't be able to request her FOIR unless she gives your written permission (living people's files are not considered public files yet)...

My lawyer and I are considering to get FOIA. How many days have you waited to get the documents that you want? Will you ever see the reason why they denied your visa? Thanks.
