right now i am in usa and now i am ging to move to canada i just want to know that would it be possible for me to get my legal status if i file my case as a gay........and how long it will take to get papers.

You should contact and check with some Canadian Immigration Attorney in this regard. They will in a better position to give you an answer for Asylem etc. as a Gay in Canada.
