If you got your F-1 status in the U.S. that means you came here on a different visa and changed your status to F1. You had your status changed here but if you leave the U.S. you need to apply for an F1 visa at the U.S. Embassy in your country to be able to return. Well, if you are absolutely sure that you can obtan a visa in your country and come back then go ahead, but otherwise I would not advise you to travel if you think they may give you a hard time.

    Hi guys,

I have F1 status (student) and I asked for it
    here in this country.
    My question is the following:
Can I travel to my country any time I want? or I can't do it? If I do what are the problems? Tell me everything you know about it.

    I'll appreciate your help.
