I filed for my EAD in September 17th (c9) catergory. I filed together with my I-485. According to processing times Vermont (where i filed) is working with September 23'2002. Thats mean they have passed my application or it should be done, am i right. According to online information its says same old message that they have my application and the date received and so on. Does anyone think there is problem wtih my application. I also filed I-140 in August sometime, could this be a problem. Just soooo worried. Any help/feedback/support will be appreciated.

Depends if what your Notice Date is. The ND is usually a few weeks after the Reciept Date. I have a similar case of concurent filing my recieved date is sept 5, and notice date is Sept 27. I had my finger prints taken on Nov 13. That sould give you an idea of how much time it takes.

Hi Guest and Mohan.....thanks for your feed back,
Yes, i am looking at my notice date, September 17,2002. I saw they are working with september 23, therefore i am so concerned, why i have not heard anything regarding my application. Makes sense that if they are working with september 23 and my date is september 17,2002, i should have heard something right ? Am just so worried

Thanks Bugsy, I did the application myself, no attorney's involved. I think that maybe they are also reviewing my I-140 for correctness before issuing the EAD. I read somewhere that some people were using the concurrent filing to take advantage of the time frame as a result INS has received many frivolous applications of I-140's. Anyway the attorney handled the I-140 stage, so lets cross fingers....thanks again bugsy
