If K-1 Petitioner can't sponsor alone do we need his I-134?

K-1 Petitioner needs relative to sponsor. For I-134 do we file one for petitioner and one for co-sponsor (as with I-864), or only for relative who is actual sponsor?

For K-1 Visa you need to file I-134. In case your income is less then you can get another I-134 from your friends or family.

Is it necessary to submit two I-134's, one for petitioner and one for co-sponsor, or just one for co-sponsor? As I recall, before the I-864 was created, you didn't need the petitioner's I-134 if he couldn't be the sponsor. You only submitted one I-134 - the one for the person who is actually sponsoring. That's my question: do I need two I-134's or one? Thank you.
