I entered on F1 visa. I am on F1 visa. I have my son with me who is in elementary school.
I want to raise my son in the US. I want him to go to US university. And I want to be with him at least until he is independent.
I love to be in the US for myself too. I do not want to leave this country at least for some 15 years. I have the following strategies to be in lawful status and keep staying here.
a. Complete current degree. Go to OPT. Then H1 and then Greencard.
b. If you do not get H1 after OPT, continue another degree.
c. Then, keep trying to go to H1 anytime you can.
d. If no H1 at all, then keep continuing different degrees.
e. If H1 but no greencard, after the termination of H1, go back to F1 and continue F1.
With regard to financing: I'll manage it.
I will work as graduate assistant. I have some saving. I will be babysitting too LOL.
I expect comment on this plan of mine from the experts.
