w-2 and irs tax return

I was adviced that if i file my tax return with itin ,it's ok but ,my joint copy w-2 form got my old fake number(before i receive itin),so could i send it like that or should i do some thing else ?please help .....there is any one who had the same experience that he could share it with me? thanks a lot........

I think your payroll department at work can file a corrected W-2 form C to change that information and submit your W-2 with the ITIN, EXCEPT that if I remember correctly, an ITIN is only for taxpaying purposes and does not mean you are eligible for employment. I'd get legal advice.
