I can relate. My youngest was diagnosed with ADHD and mix that with sugar - OMG - bouncing off the walls. Medication helps to a point, but the child also has to learn to control their behavior using other means. My son gave up the medication last year - said he wanted to try on his own to manage with his focusing issues. Seems to be doing okay so far.
