Got a question for you'all

I heard there is a way to get GC if your grandparent were citizens, is that true?

What if they passed away?

What if your paperwork were already on INS and were returned to you because of their death?

My grandparent become a citizen years ago, after that he applied for his sons.. most of them became citizens also... except my Dad because he didnt wanted to, after a while.. when he decide to do it and my grandfather applied for us, my grandfather died in the process... so INS returned our paperwork.

Any Idea?
