So has he completed the PGA school or is he still enrolled? If he is still enrolled, his student visa may afford him a year of optional practical training through which he could find a job leading to more permanent employment.

I dont think he ever got a student visa for the USTGF School...Last June 2002 he came to southern california to check out schools and ended up sgning up for the course, passed at top of his class and recieved level 3 certification through the USTGF golf school which qualifies him to teach and give lessons. The last portion of the USTGF School Course which will take him to Level 4 is the playability Test which he plans on returning and completing this June. So in a way you might say that he is still enrolled in the USTGF school until he passes that final level. Keep in mind that he is also a custom golf club maker fully certified and the best ive seen in the business.
He has his sights set on and has looked into working for PGA West ...but in order to do so (work for PGA West) he needs to go through the PGA West $5000.00 Golf Course School and he was plannning on enrolling in this summer in Palm Springs Ca. He needs to be able to work at the same time though. (giving lessons, working at pro shop or driving range, making clubs or something)
Does he need student visa to go to these specialized schools?? I really appreciate your help with all of this...he would be on line right now doing this himself but he is working 2 jobs right now delivering mail for canada post 7-3pm then from 4-12 midnight he delivers pizza for pizza hut saving every dime he can to enable him to move down to southern calif. what are his choices and what immediate steps need to be taken to expedite mattters..... thanx Diane
