Roadblocks near Canada/US Border

Just an FYI to those immigrants who live in Michigan and Washington (state). The INS (border patrol) has begun to set up actual roadblocks within 25 miles of the US/Canada border and are stopping ALL vehicles to look for illegal aliens. So if you live in those specific staes, make sure you can prove your status (carry your GC with you) or else you might be taking a trip to a holding cell until you can prove your status. People in states bordering Mexico are already subject to these types of stops (CA, AZ, NM) and it is going to spread. Also with the spotlight on 'profiling' that many police departments are dealing with it would be prudent for even natural born USC to carry their birth certificates...

So how long until we are all subject to 'papers' inspection at random all over the place. A step back to 1940's Europe...
