Once my L-2 is dependant upon my husband's L-1, which he nolonger has, is it good yet, or am I out of status?
And if I'm out of status, have I lived illegally here since my husband got his green card?

As far as my knowledge goes, if your hubby's L1 has been terminated (due to various reasons like change of status etc) it automatically terminates your L2 status cos as u said rightly u r a dependant. However I believe you might have 60 months grace period to leave US onec L2 is over. If you are still within that grace period you are not ILLEGAL. If you have crossed that period then your stay is illegal. I advise that your hubby file relative sponsorship petition to adjust u r status from L-2 to PR based on marriage and family petition. If you have overstayed your L2 incl grace period then i guess you have to file for a waiver too.

Are 60 MONTHS or days grace period to leave US ?

I forgot to say that I have a pending green card application (which was filed together with my husband's application).

If I have a pending application to adjust to permanent resident status and a no longer good visa, do I have a limit period to leave the US?

If you have the I-485 receipt with you and have your EAD things are OK.However, had you made a follow up or query on the status of your green card application as beneficiary of your husband?
