  • Green card process

I am on H1b status. My I485 was submitted (Vermont) in October 2002 based on a Labor certification from a PREVIOUS employers, that was approved before I started with my current employer. I got my work permit, travel documents approved and did the fingerprints.
Any idea what is next and how much time it should take to get the green card?
Will the fact that the I485 based on my previous employemt get in the way/dealy?
    Thanks,

I had an I140 (nurses) filed at vermont (hhssss) in july 2002, still nothing. Nurses I140's are supposed to take max of 9 months. vermont is the worst in the US.
