Hello ,

My Father came on visitor visa for 6 Months.
2 Months left for visa expiry.

And attended my citizenship ceremony.
Now I am citizen of USA.

For applying for Green Card for my father what is to be done.

He has to go Back or Not.

or to File for AOS.

I-130 and what else

Since you are now U.S. Citizen you should sponsor your father by filing I-130 and your father should apply for AOS by filing I-485 and EAD I-765. You should file all these documents at your nearest District office of Immigration. That is very fast and if you will send them to Service Center it will take months. You can download all these Form from BCIS website at www.bcis.gov and even can fill them and print it.

It is not fast. I am a USC my husband is Canadian We have been waiting 18 mos. Last note from BCIS is at least 24 months.
