Colleagues, I'd like to hear your opinions and experiences: how effectively do you think construction and engineering projects are managed with full ERP system integration? Which tools have proven most useful in your day-to-day work—resource planning, task monitoring, tracking changes in project documentation, or something else? How does ERP impact process transparency, interdepartmental collaboration, and timely decision-making? And are there any pitfalls you should be aware of before implementation?

I'd like to share my experience manage construction and engineering projects with ERP integration. In my opinion, management efficiency significantly increases when all processes are combined into a single platform. Resource planning has become extremely transparent: I can see team workloads, material distribution, and task deadlines in real time, which helps avoid downtime and optimize budgets. Monitoring tasks and controlling changes to project documentation are also significantly simplified—all updates are immediately reflected for all project participants, and the likelihood of errors due to outdated information is minimal. The ERP system ensures process transparency and improves collaboration between departments, accelerating decision-making at all levels. Among the useful tools, I especially highlight the ability to integrate with calendars and schedules, automatic task status tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators. The only things worth paying attention to before implementation are thorough data preparation and team training to ensure the adaptation goes as smoothly as possible. Overall, ERP integration makes project management more structured, predictable, and controllable.
