ATTN: ALL LATINOS i'm married to an illegal

here in california married to a guy one year, had his baby.HE's 25 guatemalan..he's been here since he was a child but he is still illegal. He has no papers whatsoever and his ssn was a mismatch. How do other people survive like this? What do they do if they're here illegally? What are the chances of getting his papers? I never been in this situation before. Can he still work
with a ssn mismatch?

If he doesn't get a valid SSN he will be haunted by these mismatch letters wherever he works. His employer is slack and obviously doesn't confirm SSNs prior to employment. You need to consult an attorney and find out how he can become legal. It's a complicated process and you should get professional advice.

Call the FBI they can help.

The only help calling the FBI will do is getting him deported.

****pinay, unfortunately, even if you're a USC, until 245(i) is reinstated, there's not much that can be done at this point to legalize your husband. Maybe proving extreme hardship is a possibility, but my understanding thats for deportation procedure, not for legalizing status.
