Can H1 holder also manage a business alongwith the job

Just like it is possible to take part-time courses alongside with my job, I am also wondering if I could do the same with business. Manage a business alongside with my job. All this being legally achieved by opening a firm, paying taxes as per my W2 from my job and also paying taxes due towards the business ?

I would appreciate it, if I could get a concrete answer to this.
