Hi Everyone, I hope someone can help with my question. I would like to know if there is anyway someone who gained a ban by overstaying their visa can gain a waiver if they have an employer willing to sponsor them.My friend visited the usa and overstayed one year and is now on a 10 year ban, but they have been offered a job over here and are not sure whether they will be able to overcome the ban.They didnot work illegally when here the last time.

I may be wrong, but I think the waiver is only for spouse or children of USC/LPR.
