Germans with child facing deportation

Hello,

I have a question regarding my parents. They are illegal in the US for 4 years now. Because they see their mistake now and they are broke, they search help for the flight back to Germany at the German consulate. The German consulate told them that they will report them to the INS to get them deported, because my parents are not able to pay for the flight by themselves.
My parents have a 14 year old son (my brother). What will happen to him if they are getting arrested awaiting final deportation order?

Good chance they will be sent to a detentioncenter.

If they get reported, they will very likely be detained and "removed". The 14 year old son will be as well (no matter if he is legal or not).

What about you? What's your status and can't you sponsor them?
