AOS in 2 catagories

i have I-485 pending since oct98 and then i got married to us citizen, applied I-130 and I-485 again, i got fingerprinted and interviewd in dec for I-130,interviewing officer told me that she cant give me decision on my petition since a new law requires her to send my application to home department or something..... i havent got anything in mail yet.do you have any more info on his >>> pLz help....

It is almost 3 months now since you had your interview based on marriage to USC, so you should go to the Immigration office where you had interview and ask for its status. Sometimes, they start investigating which take 2 - 3 months. It is already 3 months, so you must check with them. You can also seek help from your Congressmand an Senator in this regard.

umesh,at the moment me and my usc wife are living in an apartment,we have sent all our papers in.
we are planning to buy our own home,what do we have to do to inform ins.
