  • I485 question

I am on H1b status. My I485 was submitted (Vermont) in October 2002 based on a Labor certification from a PREVIOUS employers, that was approved before I started with my current employer. I got my work permit, travel documents approved and did the fingerprints.
Any idea what is next and how much time it should take to get the green card?
Will the fact that the I485 based on my previous employemt get in the way/dealy?
    Thanks,

It will take a long time to get your green card because through an employer it will take longer. The safest way is through marriage. But remember it will have to do a real marriage not a fake one because they will hunt you down. You might get your green card in a year.
