DL will expire as I go in "limbo"... help?

I'm going to AOS, but realize that my driver's license will expire as I await for my AOS. What can I do or what are my options? I forsee that I still won't be able to renew as I wait for my EAD. If I get EAD, will I be able to use that to renew, and I appreciate your knowledge!

Since you have your DL already, so there should be no problem for its renewal. You just go and check with Motor Vehicle Department and explain them your situation and walk with your Immigration Papers. If they won't renew it then they can issue you a temporary DL or conditional DL.
