    CSS/LULAC applicants and advocates,
In summary, the court is expected in the next few days/weeks to issue its final injunction
setting up a CSS legalization application period (probably for one year).

We are currently seeking final relief for LULAC Group 2 ³late amnesty² class
    members.

Group 2 includes all persons who visited an INS or QDE office to
apply for amnesty during the 1987-88 application year without a fully
complete amnesty application, but who were informed that they were
ineligible for amnesty because they had left the United States sometime
    after January 1, 1982, and re-entered the United States using a visitor's
    visa or similar entry document.

In particular, we are trying to identify LULAC class members--

    1) who have received INS decisions denying them adjustment of
status under the LIFE Act or were sent Notices of Intent to Deny their LIFE
    Act applications; OR

    2) who never applied for temporary LULAC work permits; OR

    3) who traveled outside the U.S. during the May 1987 - May 1988 legalization
application period for more than 30 days. .
