  • Foam concrete uses

    foam concrete
Foamed concrete: It is a mixture of concrete, consisting of cement, sand and some chemical and organic components, added in certain proportions to allow the formation of air bubbles resembling soap bubbles, and its components are mixed with a mixer that operates according to a mechanism

and other special pumps are supplied with air-pressure molds. Specific, or pumped directly to fill roofs and fillings in buildings. These bubbles make the concrete lighter in weight and double the quantity and production. It is called aerated concrete, lightweight concrete, or porous concrete.

    Foam concrete uses
Foam concrete is used in roofs, walls and tall buildings; Because it does not need foundations and large quantities of iron, and it is considered as a sound and fireproof insulation material

so its use invaded all developed countries; In view of its ease of use, its preservation of the environment, its high technology, and the provision of some other building requirements, a supervising engineer must be appointed to determine its components and the method of production in line with the type of building.

    cement
It is one of the components that help in the bonding of foam concrete, and its rate is set at 40%, and it is preferable to use Portland cement, and other types with a high percentage of alumina can be used, which are characterized by their rapid hardening and high resistance to sulfates.

    cumulus
It is sand that is sieved in certain proportions, provided that its percentage in foam concrete is 40%, and sand makes foam concrete more coherent, and increases its resistance to insulation, fire and various weather factors, and it must undergo certain tests to ensure its quality and free from any impurities.

    water
Water is an important component of foam concrete; In it, the materials are mixed and reacted to obtain a foamy cement mixture, and it is added to the concrete after undergoing several tests; To ensure that the proportion of (W/C) is measured from 50%-60%, and the water can be increased or decreased according to the additives, the degree of concrete required, and its fluidity.

    Foaming materials
Air bubbles similar to shampoo bubbles are produced; It is mixed with the foam concrete parts, to make it light, and to increase its production quantity. Foam materials can be added in more than one way, provided it does not exceed 10%, by adding artificial, organic, or protein foams in certain proportions, or by producing and preparing them in advance to a mixture, then adding them to a mixture. Cement, sand and water, or the use of chemicals that cause reactions and the formation of bubbles, or the use of materials that increase the proportion of air and lock it inside the foam concrete.foam concrete
