The regulations were NOT "relaxed". Loan standards were "relaxed" because of regulations and threats of lawsuits and jail under CRA unless the standards were relaxed. I don't consider lawsuits and jail sentences to be "relaxed" regulations.

I never threatened anyone with a law suit. When I shopped around for my house in 2003, I spoke to many banks. I was a little worried about my credit and landing a decent rate, as it had taken a hit during and after my divorce. I will never forget what one of the representatives said, namely, "you don't know how much they (the bank) want to give you that loan"!

I'm well aware of these regulations being aggressively enforced. Obama himself filed a class action lawsuit against Citi in 2003 for not giving out enough sub-prime loans. These loan at all costs regs were the only ones adhered to.

Banning Torture - We have never tortured anyone. Waterboarding is not torture; not even close.

Reversal on energy policy - Hasn't happenned yet either but when it does, it will cost us millions of more jobs to China and India who are exempt from the Kyoto treaty.

Children's Health Act - Hasn't even passed yet and its just more socialization and more unaffordable health care, just what we need. I suppose paying for abortions in other countries is considered part of the Children's Health Act.

Fair Pay Act - Hasn't even passed yet and the Soviet Union tried socialism and it didnt work there either.

American Reinvestment Act - Is this Community Reinvestment Act Part 2? Just what we need. Bush spent a trillion and that didn't work so Obama figures that failure was worth repeating. Change???

Stem Cell research; How many billions have been spent on this over the past 25 years and exactly what has come of it? Zip. But hey, bad ideas are hard to kill.

So nAnd lets not forget the trillions in debt that Obama has added in his first 2 months. Lets not forget that 500 million jobs were lost during the first month (according to Pelosi).Lets not forget that he "apologized" to Iran.
