Can an Immigrant/Permanent Resident apply for K-1?

was just wondering if a permanent resident can apply for K-1 or Fiance` visa... if not, what can one do to bring his/her spouse here? apply for B1/B2???

LPR can not apply for K-1 or K-3. These catagories are for use by USCs only.

Re. B1-B2, can try luck. No advise avaiable.

You mean there's no other way for LPRs to bring their other halves here besides trying luck?

Curious, if your are legal permanent resident, you can sponsor your WIFE and unmarried children. You'll have to file I-130 and petition for her. Then you have to wait for a visa number, and after that file I-485. Best of all, go to www.immigration.gov, look under How do I? and then Family.

what i m unable to understand is, how can one take benefit of the Section(245)i,,, provided the petition was filed before April 30th???
