You are eligible for a full refund under Lufthansa's return policy if
  • Your flight is booked, you Cancel within 24 hours, and the departure date is at least 7 days away.
  • Your flight is cancelled by Lufthansa.
  • If an irregularity occurs more than a day before departure, or if it occurs more than five hours before departure, Lufthansa will postpone your trip by more than two hours.
  • You cancel your reservation prior to departure with a refundable ticket.
  • Your flight was cancelled by Lufthansa because of COVID-19.
  • You were refused boarding despite having a verified reservation.
  • You can prove that you were unable to make it to your flight because of an unexpected sickness or the passing of a loved one.
