In am in LA, my interview was 15 months after I applied for AOS.
At the Consulate of your country they can extend or renew your passport anyway.
Good Luck!

Guest repliedI was married in August/2002 and filed for green card in Sept/2002. I went for my first fingerprint to get my work authorization card and then in February went for my full fingerprints at INS in Fort Worth,TX. I have heard nothing since. Is anyone else in this same time frame as me and have recieved an interview yet?
Also question#2. My passport will expire in 7 months. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem if I go for my interview and I have an expired passport. I cannot get another until I get my greencard and that I can't do until my interview.
Thanks for any help at all
