Netgear routers are much in use nowadays and users must be aware of how to change the settings. The router is configured with default settings with a Wi-Fi network name and password that the user can change according to their preference through the router web interface. There are the few steps to help you know about the best Netgear router settings: Use a device that is connected to your router's network > Access web browser from that device>Type in your username and password> After being logged in, select the 'Wireless' option>Enter your latest network name in the displayed Name field> Select the 'Apply' option. You must keep in mind that the Wi-Fi password and SSID are not the same as the admin password. If you get disconnected from the network somehow after saving the changes, reconnect to available wireless networks through the new password.
