Changing the login password of your Netgear Router requires you to know the router’s IP address and a computer connected to the router either with an Ethernet cable or wirelessly. Once the devices are connected, browse the router’s IP address and enter the current login credentials to log into the router management console. Once you are logged into the router, to get an answer to how to change Netgear password, click on the ‘Advanced’ tab. You will be prompted to enter the new login password and then enter it again to confirm the change. Lastly, click on the ‘Apply’ button to save the changes. You can now log out of the router admin console and try logging in again using the newly set Netgear Router login password.
