EAD -Guest 2 and Cathy

Hi....They go with September 27th, the actual date of the receipt. I also have like a 3 week passage inbetween my notice and the acutal receipt date. Anyway good luck !

Remember me : Well since i said that i will posthere once i hear news re: my EAD. I just did it was approved today. They said they have mailed a approval notice. How longs does it take to get social security number, that is after i apply for SS. Thanks GIdget

Congratulations to you! the approval notice is tha card itself, you'll be amazed.

I went to get my SS for the first time was denied because my passport was expired so I had it renewed then went back after a week, the SS lady told me that I should be there after a month because sometimes the INS don't forward names in thier system that soon, the lady checked my name in the computer and my name was finally there so they issued me a receipt and in 3 days time I got my SS card. Just try to go to SS as soon as you get you get your card, who knows your name might be in there system then.

Congratulations Kathy. Where do they mail you the card at your home address or to your employers address.

I mean the EAD and not the SS. Sorry for the confusion

Hi FM.........They mailed to my home address. when it comes to EAD, it always is posted to the beneficiary and not the attorney. Hope this helps
