    Hi, besides a fishing rod, you need to take a lot of other equipment for fishing. I always take a camping hammock with me, which protects me from insects. Its advantage is that it is very lightweight and durable.

    Lake Tahoe. No doubt about it. I caught a 20 ponds Mackinaw there once. And all the fish is in abundance there. If I could I'd went nomad and lived there all year round camping and eating fish only. The place is picturesque and it will surprise you with natural beauty that's for sure.
