Hi all!
First about its application. It is used to stop or start the flow of liquid or gas. For example, to turn on water in a washing machine or dishwasher.
They are powered by electricity and have a coil of wire on a spool with a tube containing a moving armature (a round piece of magnetic steel with a spring holding it in one direction). The operation of the valve depends on whether it is NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed).
So for my vehicle I use bosch solenoid valve, which is the best on the market
