I-751 coming up

I haven't been on this in a lonngggg time! But it is getting closer to the date in which we need to file the I751. So let me give you guys some background info

Me and my husband are both 21 and we live in my parents house. We pay monthly rent, but can't afford to move out on our own (especially in these hard economic times!!) Both of us are college students at the moment. So I just wanted to share some documents we will be sending in and see what you guys thought about it

-Joint taxes
-Joint phone bill
-Joint bank account
-Car insurance
-He's on my life insurance
- Vacation tickets/itineraries
-Tons of pictures
- Affidavits from friends and family (5)
- Copies of both our licenses showing we have the same address
- Might send copies of important papers we both have to show the same address

Also I was wondering if any one who has already filed this form... do you suggest maybe writing an essay or something like that about your lives together? Thanks for any suggestions and let me know what you guys think!!!!!!

I think you have very good info to send in with the application. Include some pictures of you and the family and husband. Pics since the first interview.

Also have your parents write a letter that you are renting from them, and a copy of cancelled check may help show that this is real.

An essay is not necessary, lol , but I think it is a nice and sincere thing to do. Go ahead, but make it short for the Immi Officer to read.

wow thanks for the quick response! we havent filed yet we dont file for another couple of months but i like to get things in order ahead of time lol last time we filed we were at the nat'l benefits center so im guessing it will be there again!

It sounds like you have it covered, though like 4now, I'd also suggest an affidavit from your parents regarding the rental situation, possibly a receipt or copy of a check if available.

Have you considered working full time and going to school part time? They you won't be an embarrasement to your parents.
