You are wrong my friend, not everybody lies in America. If your Attorney had told you something else then you should blame him not others.
You should not judge us Americans by a single person, if he told you something else.
    Good luck.

It seems my current attorney lied to me again.
Thank you for your honest answer anyway.
Why does everybody lie in US?

Thank you Mr. Umesh Passi. I knew you would follow my lead. You really are something else.

    Hey Roy!

I really hope this helps and like Mr. Passi said, hope to see those smiles again.

God Bless, Good Luck, and Take Care!

When a case is transferred from Administrative Appeals Unit to the Administrative Appeals Office that means that all paper works regarding you appeal has been completed and the appeal is ready for submission for determination.
The whole process completed is your attorney filed Notice of Appeal then Appeal itself. Immigration Attorney filed its opposition and all those papers are in file alongwith your old file.
If your attorney had opted for Personal Representation then they will fix a date for arguments, otherwise they will make a decision on your appeal based on facts and documents on file. Whole process takes some one year to 2 years.
I hope you are not mad now and wioll change color of your smiley.
    Good luck.

I am sorry no one has answered back to your thread. If you can check the board around 6 to 7 hours from now, I will see if we can come up with an answer for you.

I have to admit, you gave me quite a chuckle with the use of the emoticons and your determination in finding an answer.

Hang in there, help is on its way")

God Bless Your Patience even if you did use a mad face in that last post, lol.

How long does it usually take to receive a decision from Administrative Appeals Office in Washington DC on an appeal filed with new evidence for denied I-140 petition?

My appeal was transfered from Administrative Appeal Unit to Administrative Appeals Office.
What does it mean? Could you explain because I did not understand?
