  • N- 600 chils citizinship act of 2001 or I-130

    Can you please help me?
    I was born on 01 Sep 1984,
My mother is a U.S citizen, Born on 23 Nov 1960. I want to receive U.S citizenship
Can my mom file for me the Form N-600, taking in consideration that I’m now over 18!
My mom lived in the U.S from 1969-1977.
And I was under 18 years of age before 02/2001, Child citizenship act.
So basically can she file for me under the child citizenship act or she need to file a regular petition I-130 and I have to wait 7 years for a visa number available

    Thank You

    A

Were you born in wedlock or out of wedlock?

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
