Hello everyone,
I am currently conducting a study in hopes of influencing immigration policy makers not to separate children from their parents and spouses from each other. Name of study: MEXICAN AND CENTRAL AMERICAN ADULTS IMMIGRANTS SEPARATED FROM THEIR PRIMARY CAREGIVERS: DO ATTACHMENT, ACCULTURATIVE STRESS, SOCIAL SUPPORTS, AND SEPARATION PREDICT MARITAL DISTRESS?
Purpose of study: The purpose of the study is to inquire if immigrant variables (attachment, acculturative stress, and social supports) in Central American and Mexican immigrants who were separated from their primary caregivers as children predict marital distress.
Name of researcher: ISAAC CARREON
Specific requirements:
MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER, MUST HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FROM PRIMARY CAREGIVERS (PARENT/S) FROM THE AGE OF 0-18, MUST BE CURRENTLY MARRIED
If you meet these requirements or know of anyone who does, please send me a private message so that I can send you the links to Survey Monkey where you may complete the questionnaires.
I appreciate your support.
Thank you,
Isaac Carreon
