Visa Lottery Program

Hi people,
I have a question about the Visa Lottery.
I need an High School Diploma to apply but I get one on July 2003.
So, can I apply now ( so I don't miss the chance for this year) even if I get the Diploma 2 months later? Or should I wait for next year?
I saw that I should present my Diploma when I'll be for the Visa Interview and I think that it should be if I win the lottery.

Credo che il giorno ultimo sia nell'ottobre 2003. Forse Lei puo aspettare fino al settembre ` dopo avendo ricevuto il suo diploma. Non ho buon fiducia niente con il servizio postale italiano particolarmente se Lei abita nel Sud.

Per entrare il Lottery Diverso `e di gratis. Lei non deve pagare per il servizio se Lei puo farlo se stesso. Facile a farlo. Non voglio vedere che 50 dollari sia perso per niente.

Vale a cercare informazione nel State Department.

I want to thank you for the advices. Well, your Italian is not so perfect..
If you want to learn that Language I can help you but I can't until I don't live in the US.
However, I'll wait for September and I'll apply on my own, without any help and without pay anything.

I'm a bit afraid that my letter won't be received!!

Can you tell me what part of Italy you are from? I have a friend in Milan and have sent letters and packages and he seems to only be able to receive only half of them.

By the way, why would you be so interested in coming to live in the U.S.? Italy seems to have so much to offer.

Hi Parcel,
I'm from South, Sicily.
It' s so hard to get a work permission and a living permission so I can work and live in US.
I don't really know how I could get visas.
I want to live in the US because I want to study acting and break into show biz.
I don't like Italian films and I'm more comfortable speaking (and acting) in English.

So that's why I want to stay there.
Any suggestions?
