what is your bachelors area? math, science, english are the most in need.
if you are in one of these core areas, you need to pass CBEST (for california) and you need to pass the subject competency (since there are specific subjects that you need to take up to teach let's say math, if you dont have these specific subjects you need to take a test)
sadly these tests are only given here in the US and CBEST requires social security number.
i dunno for other states
